Shame is a heavy emotion that weighs on the heart and keeps us stuck in silence and self-doubt. Shake Off the Shame is a powerful grief-informed yoga class that invites you to release what no longer belongs in your body—starting with the idea that you are not enough.

We begin by reconnecting to our self-worth through the breath—specifically, by accessing the power of the lungs. Then we turn up the music and enter a moving meditation designed to shake off stagnant shame—literally. Expect rhythmic, guided movement that’s freeing and deeply therapeutic.

From there, we slow down to witness what's been hiding under the surface: old stories, stuck emotions, or shame we’ve unknowingly carried. You’ll be invited to feel it—just enough to let it move—and release its grip on your nervous system. The class ends with supportive restorative poses to help you integrate the transformation and return home to your body with softness and compassion.

Come as you are. No yoga experience needed. All movements can be done from a yoga mat or a chair. This is your time to breathe, move, and reclaim your worth—one shake, one breath, one release at a time.
