Yoga for your emotional health

Lindsay Hope yoga isn't about touching your toes or mastering poses — it’s about being in your body and feeling your feelings. Yes, the F-word. And let’s be honest, none of us were ever handed an instruction manual on what to do with our feelings. How do we process them? What's the right way to respond to them? What are they even? Especially the big messy ones like grief, anger and fear; or all the ones that came flooding in with that traumatic moment that changed everything.

Ignoring your messy emotions might seem like the best answer but spoiler alert: it comes at a cost — to your physical health, your emotional health, and your ability to live a happy life.

That’s why this practice is different.

Lindsay's grief-informed yoga classes are designed to help you process overwhelming emotions and regulate your nervous system. No thinking or talking is necessary.

Transformation doesn’t require tears or big displays of emotion— just the courage to show up and let yourself breathe and move, even just a little bit.

These classes aren’t about doing yoga poses — they are about healing your pain and building your emotional resilience. Consider this your invitation to join us and finally give yourself the time and space to heal what ales you.

What To Expect

Emotions In Motion is a Grief-informed/trauma informed yoga style that uses a combination of breath, movement, yoga and sound together to help move grief and pain out of your body. This practice helps regulate your nervous system, creating space for emotional release without needing to explain or analyze. Breath work calms the mind, soothes anxiety, and taps into your self empowerment. While mindful movement supports the release of stuck emotions that often settle in the muscles and joints. This integrative approach supports the somatic processing of heavy emotions—allowing the body to safely release what was never meant to be carried forever.

*Classes can be taken from a chair or a yoga mat, instructions will be given for both. You will need access to a computer and Zoom to take these classes

ABOUT LINDSAY

Lindsay Hope is a teacher with a gift for helping others gently reconnect with their bodies, their breath, and their emotions. With over 15 years of yoga teaching experience and a background in psychology, sociology, and athletics, she brings a grounded, body-led approach to transformation through movement.

Having personally experienced how powerful yoga can be for finding calm in the midst of chaos Lindsay understands the transformational powers that yoga offers. Emotions like grief, anxiety, anger and stress often live quietly in the body long after the words have run out. Lindsay's lived experience, combined with years of guiding others, allows her to meet students with deep empathy and practical tools that truly make a difference.

Lindsay created a space where people don’t have to “talk it out” to feel better—because sometimes words aren’t enough. Her classes are designed to support your nervous system, calm your mind, and create space to move the emotions we often push aside through. With breathwork, intentional movement, sound, and somatic practices she helps students shift out of fight-flight-freeze and into rest, release, and reconnect

What sets Lindsay apart is her ability to hold space for vulnerability while also guiding with clarity and strength. Students describe her teaching as compassionate yet steady, giving them the confidence to soften, feel, and let go at their own pace.

She holds certifications in Hatha, Set Series, Yoga For First Responders, Yin, and Grief Yoga, and is trauma-informed certified—training that equips her to safely guide people through tender emotions and hard times.
