Yoga for Your Emotional Health

Yoga for Your Emotional Health isn’t about flexibility or perfect poses. It’s about creating a safe space in your body to feel—yes, the F word—release and heal the pain. Most of us were never taught what to do with our emotions, especially the big messy ones like grief, anger, and fear. So instead, we learn to ignore them. It might seem easier, but it comes at a cost to your health, energy, and quality of life.

That’s where this practice comes in.

Through grief-informed yoga, Lindsay guides you to move and breathe in ways that release stored pain and reconnect you with your emotional strength. No overthinking. No pressure. Just movement, breath, and healing from the inside out.

This isn’t your traditional yoga class. It’s emotional liberation —helping your body feel safe again by dissolving the pain through movement and breath.

Join us and experience the shift that happens when you stop resisting your emotions and start trusting them. Your feelings aren’t the obstacle—they’re the path home to yourself.

What To Expect

Emotions in Motion is a gentle, healing style of yoga that helps you release stress, grief, and emotions stored in your body. You don’t need to be flexible or have any experience—just come as you are.

Each class blends breath work, mindful movement, and the use of sound to support the natural release of heavy emotions—without you needing to explain, analyze, or revisit the story. The focus is on helping your body feel safe again and dissolving the pain.

Every class is taken in the comfort of your own home and you are encouraged to take care of yourself however you need to during the practice. You have permission to turn your camera off during the practice if you would like complete privacy. This is a space to simply follow along, breathe, and allow your body to let go of what it no longer needs.

You can join from a chair or a yoga mat. Classes are held live on Zoom—you’ll just need a computer or device with internet access.

Lindsay's gentle teaching style helped to validate, process and move the grief that was apparently keeping me stuck. I was so inspired by her class that I was able to get back to my regular yoga practice after many years and am so glad I took the chance on her class""

ABOUT LINDSAY

Lindsay Hope is a teacher with a gift for helping others gently reconnect with their bodies, their breath, and their emotions. With over 15 years of yoga teaching experience and a background in psychology, sociology, and athletics, she brings a grounded, body-led approach to transformation through movement.

Having personally experienced how powerful yoga can be for finding calm in the midst of chaos Lindsay understands the transformational powers that yoga offers. Emotions like grief, anxiety, anger and stress often live quietly in the body long after the words have run out. Her lived experience combined with years of guiding others, allows her to meet students with deep empathy and practical tools that truly make a difference.

She's created a space where people don’t have to “talk it out” to feel better—because sometimes words aren’t enough. Her classes are designed to support your nervous system and move the emotions we often push aside through. With breathwork, intentional movement, sound, and somatic practices she helps students shift out of fight-flight-freeze mode and into rest, release, and reconnect mode.

What sets Lindsay apart is her ability to hold space for vulnerability while also guiding with clarity and strength. Students describe her teaching as compassionate yet steady, giving them the confidence to soften, feel, and let go at their own pace.

She holds certifications in Hatha, Hot Set Series, Yoga For First Responders, Yin, and Grief Yoga, and is trauma informed certified—training that equips her to safely guide people through tender emotions and hard times.

She looks forward to seeing you on the mat
